1. Oregon
The ducks had a nice showing against the huskies winning 44-10, silencing, for now anyway, any questions about their Qb situation.
2. Florida
It looks like they have more weapons now besides Tim Tebow and Percy Harvin, plus a defense to back them up.
3. USC
Sanchez looked impressive as did anyone who line up at tailback for the Trojans in their victory over Virginia.
4. LSU
LSU had a solid victory over upset minded Appalachian st.
5. Ohio State
Great win (over Youngstown st), great loss (beanie wells ankle.)
6. Wake forest
One the few ACC wins.
7. Oklahoma
The sooners win their tuneup game against Chattanooga.
8. West Virginia
Pat White looked sharp throwing five touchdown passes.
9. Missouri
Mizzou beat the Illini but need to improve their defense.
10. Wisconsin
Another easy winner.
11. South Florida
South Florida looked good against Tennessee-Martin.
12. UConn
Where is hofstra?
13. Miami
If Miami's offense plays like that all season then the ACC better watch out.
14. Cincinnati
Beat UConn, no wait eastern Connecticut.
15. Texas Tech
Should be able to cruise like that for the next four games.
16. Georgia
Beat Georgia southern but lost another player to injury.
17. Cal
Coach Tedford made the right choice at Qb as usual.
18. Texas
Another easy win over weaker opponent by a big twelve team.
19. Purdue
Next game: 1. Oregon
20. Alabama
Nice win over overrated Clemson.
21. Arizona State
Only one sack allowed versus northern Arizona.
22. Auburn
Louisiana-Monroe? How many teams does Louisiana have?
23. Florida State
The state of Florida is looking good again.
24. Oklahoma State
A win over Washington state is nothing to brag about but Oklahoma State sneaks into the top 25.
25. Stanford
Can the cardinal continue the success?
Oregon State, Virginia tech, Mississippi Sate, and Pitt drop out of the standings after losing games that I didn't predict. Most of the losses were pretty bad, only Oregon State has a realistic chance at making it back to the top 25. Alabama didn't jump anyone because I predicted their win and I never had Clemson ranked.
