1. Tim Tebow
Tim Tebow remains my favorite but he could drop depending on his performance against Tenn.
2. Sam Bradford
Two straight games with five touchdowns is just amazing and jumps Bradford up the Heisman list.
3. Mark Sanchez
Sanchez didn't put up spectacular numbers but still looked good against one of the best defenses out there.
4. Chase Daniels
Daniels drops but in reality Tebow, Bradford, Sanchez, and Daniels are so close it's basically a tie between them.
5. Colt Mccoy
Mccoy is a distant fifth and is mainly on the list because of his cool name. He can move up however if he beats Oklahoma and Missouri.

Top 25 week 3
Now that I know more about the teams by the way they have been playing I have redone the top 25.
1. USC
USC looks like the strongest team in the nation right now. They have a great leader in Sanchez, all the running backs look like all-Americans and their defense is good enough to be in the pros.
2. Oregon
Oregon drops for three reasons: 1. the Qb situation, 2. Their sub par effort against Purdue, and 3. the overall awesomeness of USC.
3. Florida
Florida still hasn't played anyone, but I still think their good enough to go unbeaten in the SEC. They have Tim Tebow who can win games by himself, and one of the best defenses in the nation.
4. Oklahoma
Bradford looks amazing so far and Oklahoma's defense looks good too. Oklahoma need to watch out though because the big twelve is much stronger this year.
5. LSU
LSU looks solid, they are the only team in the SEC that, in my opinion, come close to Florida.
6. Missouri
Chase Daniels and the Mizzou offense have been putting up some amazing numbers but heir defense is still suspect.
7. Texas
Texas looks strong but their season depends on Colt Mccoy staying healthy and consistent.
8. Ohio State
Without Beanie Wells Ohio State just isn't as good as it could be, but Pryor looks ready to start.

Right now UConn is the only team in the big east besides South Florida, that looks any good, and they look pretty good.

East Carolina has beaten Virginia Tech, West Virginia, and now Tulane who is the reigning conference champ. Going unbeaten shouldn't be that hard now.

PAC Ten Predictions week 2
Lat week I did pretty well and went 5-1, let's see how well I do this time.
Arizona 56, Toledo 10
Arizona rolls again but can't get the shutout or the 70 point they get against Idaho. Mike Stoop goes 2-0 for the first time at Arizona.
ASU 31, Stanford 24
Arizona State looks in control the entire game until late in the fourth when Stanford gets within a touchdown and recovers an onside kick. However unable to rely on their running game The cardinal stalls and the sun devils win.
Cal 34, WSU 7
Cal completely overwhelms the cougs, but Brandon Gibson embarrasses the golden bears defense by getting wide open in the end zone in the first quarter.

Pac Ten player of the week, week 1
Mark Sanchez:
Sanchez vaulted himself into heisman contention with his great performance at Virginia.

USC looked impressive putting up 52 against Virginia, they had three running backs who looked like all-Americans, Sanchez didn't show any signs of any lingering effects from his knee injury.
Oregon State killed themselves with turnovers and poor tackling. The good is that that is fixable, the bad new is that you are now 0-1 in the PAC ten. At least it looks like Sammie Stroughter is back to his old self.
Coach Tedford prove me wrong again in picking the right Qb to start. Riley looked sharp while Longshore did his best to lose the game for the golden bears throwing two picks on five attempts.
Arizona State only let in one sack but they look to have a sterner test when they play Stanford next week.
It's bad enough having to star the season when a conference game, but two in a row? That's what's facing the cardinal after a good win over Oregon state they have to play Arizona State. At least both games are at home. Stanford may not have much talent but coach Harbaugh knows how to get the most out of his players.

Most of the losses were pretty bad, only Oregon State has a realistic chance at making it back to the top 25. Alabama didn't jump anyone because I predicted their win and I never had Clemson ranked.

Oregon preview
The Oregon Ducks were riding high last year when they beat USC for the
first time in five years. The national championship was in sight, butin the end of a victory over Arizona St, heisman candidate Qb Dennis
Dixon went down, a game later the dream came crashing in on them,
Dixon was out for the season. The disheartened Ducks proceeded to lose
all the rest of their games, including a heart breaker to Oregon St to
end the season. But in the Sun bowl the team rallied and smoked a
highly touted South Florida team in a game that was never in question.
This season the Ducks return 15 starters, and look to contend for the
Pac ten crown again. The road is much harder as this season they travel
to USC, ASU, Cal, and OSU. But to help them is one of the best
secondaries in the nation anchored by all-American candidate Patrick
Chung. The offense returns receiver Jason Williams, who despite his
drops, will undoubtedly go down in the record books as one of the best
receivers in Oregon history. Look to see the Ducks to be in the national title hunt again.
Offense:
Oregon's offense returns Rb Jeremiah Johnson who was having a season
equal to his teammate, NFL first round draft pick Jonathan Stewart,
until he injured his knee and was shelved for the season. Sharing
rushing duties with him is junior college transfer LaGarrete Blount
who drew raves from everyone during spring and fall camp. The
offensive line returns three starters, including center Max Unger, who
is considered one of the best in the nation and perhaps a first round
draft pick in April. At receiver is Jason Williams who appears to have
been cured of the drops that have plagued him his entire career. If so
he should be the best in the nation at 6'5" 240 he can run over Db and
he has the speed to outrun Lb. At tight end is Ed Dickson, who posses
great receiving skills and looks to improve his blocking this year.
The only question is at Qb, heir apparent Nathan Costa is out with a
knee injury. So it is up to sun bowl hero Justin Roper to lead the
offense. Offensive genius Chip Kelly already turned Roper from the
quarter back who looked lost during the shutout against UCLA to the
quarter back who was completely in charge and threw for four
touchdowns during the sun bowl rout. At second string is junior
college champion Jeremiah Masoli who last season threw for 4000 yds
and 40 touchdowns. He had practiced only a week, due to a wrist
injury, but was name the second string for Saturdays game against
Washington. behind him is true freshman Chris Harper who has the speed
of a running back and the size of a linebacker. Whoever is at Qb won't
be called top do much because of what should be a good running game
and an even better defense to back him up.
Defense:
Oregon defensive line returns the Pac ten leader in sacks and tackles
for loss, Nick Reed. On the other end is Willie Tufuaku, who has the
skills to make sure the defense can't double Reed. A DT will probably
be Rashon Harris and Col Linehan. Anchoring the linebackers is hard
hitting senior Jeremy Boyd. The Starters for the other linebacker
positions are in flux because of a dismissal but it looks like the
starters will be Spencer Paysinger and Casey Matthews son of former
NFL lineman Clay Mathews. Secondary is the Ducks Strongest position on
defense and is one of the best in the country. Leader is rover Patrick
Chung who was an all pac ten selection last year and led the ducks in
tackles. He is joined by corners Walter Thurmond III and Jairus Byrd,
who are probably the best cornerback tandem in the country.

These are my predictions for PAC ten teams this week. These predictions meant more to be entertaining then accurate.
Oregon State 27, Stanford 24
Oregon St's offense catches on fast, scoring a touchdown their first drive on a 30 yd run by Mcants. Their next two drives stall however and end in field goals with only one being made, Alexis Serna is sorely missed. Especially after the Cardinal scores two straight touchdowns to end the half: the Cardinal 21, beavers 17. In the second half, however; the beaver defense does it's job and Sammie Stroughter returns a punt for a touchdown. The beavers win a close one with a field goal at the end.
Oregon 41, Washington 14
Washington tried to focus on stopping the run this time, however; Justin Roper hooks up with Jamere Holland on a long bomb on the first drive, in a day which turns out to be a long one for Washington's defense. The lone bright spot for Washington is Jake Locker running for two touchdowns despite throwing three interceptions. Well up in the fourth the ducks send out true freshman Chris Harper who on his first play runs over two players and scores a 40 yd touchdown and Oregon wins record fifth consecutive victory over their rivals the Huskies.

Arizona passes all over Idaho and Willie Tuitama breaks Arizona's single season passing record.

ASU crushes their northern brothers but a couple sacks on carpenter has fans wondering
Cal 24, Michigan State 7
Cal's defense steps up in big way and carries a shutout late into the fourth when the Spartans finally manage a score after bear starters are benched. Cal's offense struggle under Riley but after he is benched Longshore engineers a long drive and looks every bit of the quarterback he was before his injury against Oregon last year.
UCLA 6, Tennessee 3
The big question from this game is are defenses really good or the offenses really bad. Unfortunately it's probably the latter.

USC dominates this game from the start but like most USC teams when they play lesser opponents they slacken off in the end, and allow the cavaliers to score two touchdowns in the fourth.

Heisman
1. Tim Tebow:
Tim Tebow has to be the favorite, he won it last year and this year he has a better defense and running game and that should amount to more wins, though his numbers will be slightly less.
2. Beanie Wells:
The only thing between Beanie Wells and the heisman is USC. If he runs well against them he should win the heisman.
3.C.J. Gable:
If Gable stays healthy he will be another USC living highlight reel. But he won't see the ball enough while sharing the backfield with McKnight.
4.Chase Daniels:
Chase Daniels is one of the best pure quarterbacks in college football but he isn't spectacular which is what stands between him and the heisman.
5. Pat White:
Pat white is probably the best athlete besides Tim Tebow, but he needs to win more games that he did last year to win the heisman
Tim Tebow has to be the favorite, he won it last year and this year he has a better defense and running game and that should amount to more wins, though his numbers will be slightly less.
2. Beanie Wells:
The only thing between Beanie Wells and the heisman is USC. If he runs well against them he should win the heisman.
3.C.J. Gable:
If Gable stays healthy he will be another USC living highlight reel. But he won't see the ball enough while sharing the backfield with McKnight.

Top 25
My top 25 (shown on right) is based on my game by game predictions. I went through all the BCS conferences and predicted every game. Then based on that I drew up my top 25. As the season progresses if the teams do as I predicted then they will stay where I ranked them. If they don't then I will penalize or reward them as I see fit.
